Parent Support

(Supporting parents navigating ADHD, overwhelm, and family life)

Parenting a child or teenager with ADHD can feel emotionally exhausting, particularly when daily life becomes filled with reminders, conflict, overwhelm, emotional outbursts, school stress, or constant worry about whether you are “doing enough.” Many parents are carrying an invisible mental load while trying to support their child, advocate at school, manage routines, and hold family life together.

Parent support sessions provide a space to step back, make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface, and develop practical strategies that support both the young person and the family as a whole. Together, we explore areas such as executive functioning, emotional regulation, routines, motivation, communication, school-related stress, and reducing tension at home.

The focus is not on “perfect parenting,” but on building greater understanding, calmer systems, and more sustainable ways of supporting your child while also protecting your own wellbeing.
